YouPickTheNews.com allows users to submit news stories, and other users to rate those stories based on four categories: "Overall", "Funny", "Unbelievable", and "World Changing". Stories with enough ratings are displayed on the main pages, with the highest rating stories at the top.
What are points?
Users earn points two ways. The first way is by rating stories, users get one point for each story they rate. The second way users gain points is by submitting stories. If a story gets rated high enough and recieve enough ratings, it will earn the submitter 10 points.
What are points good for?
Points simply show how much a user has contributed to YouPickTheNews.com.
